Travel wouldn’t be what it is if it wasn’t for beautiful places. I mean, why would we even spend a load of money and time just to see average things? But sometimes even those average things are done so differently in places, you can’t help but be mesmerized.
I work a 9-6 job and that means time in front of my laptop. I write, I read, I see things virtually. But just going to a place and seeing the beauty of it, always makes my poor-abused eyes blissfully happy.
I mean, even a doctor recommends taking breaks from the screen to give your eyes time to destress. If too much work makes Jack dull, I think your eyes require a vacation after all. And since it is attached to your body and can’t go bye-bye without you, carry yourself to a splendid location with wonderful views.
Switch off your phone, and just see how the sunlight is different or enjoy the colors of a destination. Does the ocean seem bigger? Is the sky bright light blue or a moody grey? Did you see that artwork etched on a wall in a cafe? Do you see the beauty in architecture?
I am always thankful for how nature, wonderful designs, and art come together to make a place what it is. Whether it is natural beauty or a tragic story that led to haunted towns, or whether our ancestors left us with marvelous structures or simply we chose to paint it so, every town has something you’ll want to see.
Even as a travel blogger and traveler I used to envy people in Kerala for their access to such pretty places. I mean I don’t blame myself, it is very enchanting. But who is stopping me from traveling? Just myself and my mindset.
Give your eyes the treat it definitely needs and travel. For your eyes burn that image into your brain to play in rewind when you’re down low and need some TLC.
